Hand-knotted Ethiopian pink opal, candy style necklace was made with 3mm to 4.5mm smooth rondelle beads. These opals have a lovely light pink body color with gorgeous glow and flashes of color from red and pink to blue, purple and green. Hand strung and knotted on contrasting, deep purple silk thread for durability and strength. The feminine necklace is just shy of 19 inches long including the handmade 14k gold filled hook clasp. Lovely worn alone or layered.
Although silk thread is very strong and durable, care should be taken to keep this necklace from being wet as the silk will stretch over time.
