This little painting was inspired by Assyrian reliefs depicting hanging gardens in the North Palace of Ashurbanipal at Nineveh.
I use my art to reflect the beauty of the natural world, while shifting the focus away from our delusional self-importance as a species. I seek to illuminate the symbiotic qualities of reality by using a visual language which inspires a deeper understanding and respect for nature.
